A Message from the Dean
‘Be joyful, keep the faith, and do the little things’, St David, the 6th century patron saint of Wales famously told his followers. Over the centuries, visitors have felt themselves deeply stirred by hope, called to integrity, and inspired in those small generous acts.
Here in Tyddewi – literally,’David’s home’ in Welsh – it is our joy to offer holy hospitality to those visiting the cathedral. As you leave, we pray David’s words for you, and hope this profoundly moving place will be a lasting encouragement throughout your pilgrim journey.
